a day after our trip to camiguin and wandering timo and pumba went on another adventure with another friend 😀
these falls were just less than 2 hours away from where I lived. It’s good to explore and go on an adventure once in a while :3
Our second and last day 😦 we hate to say good bye but we had to. we were supposed to stay for another day but we had to drag our broke asses home or we’ll be stuck in this paradise forever. the guys in the photos are Dario and Ju. Dario’s a schoolmate of ours who lives near the white island and Ju is his friend. Thanks to him we had free snacks at his place and discounts on the island chuchu.
HIGHLIGHT 🙂 WHITE ISLAND
you have to ride a boat to get to this certain white sandy beach ❤
On our way to the island in the sun….
The first thing we did was of course, take a picture and ate swaki (sea urchin). it tasted weird at first since i was not accustomed to the taste, but it was actually good 😀 must try!!!!
Just take a look at the view 😀
we hate to leave 😦 but we had to 😥
SECOND STOP: STO. NINO COLD SPRING
haha it was reaaaal funny here, you see my travel buddy didn’t know there were going to be fishes in the spring. she totally freaked out when she found out. i was enjoying the cold waters and she was screaming and i was laughing my ass off 😀 but i managed to persuade her to get into the water 😀
i felt like the first post was kind of too long already so i broke em down, here’s the second part of our exhausting and fulfilling trip!
BELOW ARE: Manong Ronald and our ride (3rd picture) and the views from the motor ride 🙂
THIRD STOP: WALKWAY TO THE OLD VOLCANO AND STATIONS OF THE CROSS
We weren’t able to climb aaaaaall the way to the top 😦 we we’re exhausted, parched and famished.
FOURTH STOP: SUNKEN CEMETERY
FIFTH STOP: CHURCH RUINS
The ruins were what was left after a volcano erupted on this island. We all know that the Philippine Archipelago belongs in the Pacific Ring of Fire with hundreds of active volcanoes. There’s still beauty in these ruins ❤
after the exhausting tour around, we went back to our villa. We stayed at Villa Paraiso, aaand took a quick dip in the pool. there weren’t any photos though 😦 and we walked around the city and hung out at the Parola (their park). the sunset was breathtaking, unfortunately, i have not gotten hold of the photos, yet.
DAY TWO will come next 🙂
unfortunately, i don’t have a summer love 😦 so i dedicated my summer to travel and fun and summer classes 😦
OFF TO CAMIGUIN WE GOOOO!! Camiguin is a beautiful island in the Philippines famous for its lanzones, springs, White Island, and probably, volcanoes and mountains too. We rode around the island using a single motor, we got broke because of the transpo :(( worth it though.
FIRST STOP: KATIBAWASAN FALLS
SECOND STOP: ENIGMATA
omg, this place is an artists’ haven. the place is so relaxing and peaceful and heavenly and majestic and everything and wow. you get to visit the place and chill for free, but it’s also an eco-lodge so you can stay there and pay or something. we didn’t really inquire about that bit since we were busy taking care of our jaws that kept on dropping 😮
For our finals output in Literature and Film Connections class, we were tasked to make a film incorporating stuff we’ve learned and so on. Indahag was a really good location ❤ lovely experience!!!!!! jajan!
